The Transit Empowerment Fund (TEF) is convening a follow-up session to last year’s Mobility Summit, which focused on the increasing need to inventory, coordinate, and innovate around mobility services that connect older adults to critical programs, services and social opportunities.

TEF is hosting “Part Two” of this important discussion to both gain inspiration by looking at innovative initiatives elsewhere, as well as what we can do locally to catalyze collaborative action. This will be a hands-on working session that takes what we heard at the last gathering – “help us convene and connect to work on solutions” – to a deeper level of idea generation and action, including potential planning or demonstration projects that TEF could consider for funding.

Overview Agenda:  

• Exploring Innovations – Learn from other initiatives how they have overcome obstacles and innovated new solutions to stuck problems
• Generating Project Ideas – Co-create specific strategies to help organizations meet the mobility needs of older adults
• Action Planning- Refine approach to help move from ideas to actions
